Tempo Advance Support

Well done for making your way here! (Can you find the in-app link too?)

Do you know that Tempo Advance has a built-in tutorial that already answers many of your questions? You can also watch demo videos from within the app or on this page. Find a list of FAQs here, or send us your question using the form below if it isn't already listed.

How do I get setlists to display in fullscreen?

1) Switch to Setlist Mode if you're not already there.
2) Touch down on the setlist title, and drag upwards. This resizes the setlist panel to show more songs.
3) Drag all the way to the top until the setlist animates into fullscreen mode.
4) To exit fullscreen, either drag down the same way, or touch the center of the header, where the downwards arrow is.

I'm getting a delay on the play button.

In iOS 7, touches near the bottom edge are delayed so the OS can detect swipe up gestures for the Control Center. Please turn on the "Fullscreen Main View" setting to eliminate this problem.

I can't get the app to display in landscape. Where's the orientation setting?

The orientation setting has been retired in favor of auto rotation. If the app doesn't rotate along with your device, the rotation lock is on. To disable it, see this article.

My phone is vibrating on some beats. How do I turn it off?

We removed the vibration on/off setting to prevent confusion when it is turned on in the Sounds Panel. To switch it off, tap (main interface, near top left) to reveal the Sounds Panel popover, then tap the on/off buttons in the column.

Auto Advance through setlists isn't working.

The toggle switch for Auto Advance has been moved to the main inteface. It's found on the right end of the setlist panel header and looks like this: .

Sometimes the setlist doesn't fill up it's entire allocated space.

This happens when you have activated connectivity with an external input device, due to a workaround required to get Tempo to respond to these devices. Turn off connectivity in Settings if you don't need it.
